Tandem kayak rental (non-guided) for the full day. They shuttled us to the launch point around 10:30. No entry fee. Maybe included. We paddled through a brownish creek to Cypress Springs, about a 15-minute journey. Suddenly, a swimming hole with crystal clear blue water, appears! Refreshingly cold (following the initial body shock) on a hot summer day. We paddled back around 3:30, and after a quick phone call and a brief wait, were shuttled back to our car. No complications. Friendly and helpful staff. Unforgettable. Note: call before you book online to ask about water clarity and color. Seems like the spring is mostly clear and blue but may "brown out" for a time after stormy weather. Basing your decision to book only on pictures and reviews may result in disappointment.

These guys answered the phone the morning I wanted to book a last minute kayaking trip for my family. They were helpful and professional. Their location is perfect and so is the drop off spot for Cypress Springs. This was my all time favorite activity my family and I have done while visiting Destin, FL. Absolutely worth the drive.

Awesome experience and would definitely do it again!! Gabe and Ashley were absolutely amazing as our tour guides and by the end of it they didn’t feel like guides. It felt like I just went out with some of my best friends! I kayaked and my wife paddle boarded and we both really enjoyed the trip to the spring, swimming there, and then paddling down the rest of the way. It was absolutely beautiful and super relaxing. They also took extra care to make sure we had food water sunscreen etc. From pickup in the van to dropping us back off it was the best part of our vacation by far!!

Cold Water Outfiters is a great place to plan your next (or first) guided hunt. I want waterfowl foul hunting for the first time in Oct 2025. The lodge is great, the food is on point, and the staff is down to earth. The price is perfect for a 4 day hunt. Sitting around the fire telling stories over a few beer is the perfect place for building new friendships. The guide keep the groups perfect size so everyone gets a shot. Hitting the bird is on you though. I recommend contacting them and setting up a trip, you won't regret it. The knowledge and passion of the guides shows in every hunt. I had some issues with my gun dueto ammo, The guide gave me a spare and I was shooting at the next run of birds. We got back to the lodge and swapped ammo after trouble shooting it with the guides. Took a few test fires and was good to go. *********Big tip make sure you dont buy your license until you find out what zone you will be hunting.********* I didnt have this issue but some folks did. Had such a blast in 2025 I already booked 2026! I also plan to get some guys together and check out the guided fishing in North Carolina.
