From the moment you arrive, you can tell this place is special—immaculate grounds, strong bird numbers, and a true appreciation for the tradition of quail hunting. Ted, the owner, is an exceptional man. His integrity, hospitality, and passion for doing things the right way show in every detail of the operation. He genuinely cares about the land, the dogs, and the people who walk through the gate. Our guide, Jerry, was top-notch. Knowledgeable, patient, and great to be around, he put us on birds all day and handled the dogs flawlessly. You can tell he truly loves what he does, and it made the hunt even better. If you’re looking for an authentic, high-quality quail hunting experience with great people, Hard Labor Creek is the place. I can’t recommend it enough.
