If you’re looking for a high-end stopping off place with all kinds of amenities, this is not the place for you. If you are planning to spend the night and looking for clean and comfortable, this one should suit. After reading reviews, I was very hesitant to stay here. However, after my last unsatisfactory stay in Chipley at a supposedly “better“ chain, I supposed this one couldn’t be any worse. I was pleasantly surprised to find recently remodeled rooms with excellent linens, efficient air conditioning, and just what I needed for a good night. There are a few signs of age. The back of my bathroom door had damage, the faucet was slightly out of place and twisted, and the desk chair showed serious signs of wear. The room in which my family stayed had a stained bedspread, but the linens were clean. The ice machine was broken, but ice was available from the office.None of these things prevented us from having a satisfactory stay. The staff was friendly and efficient.

Nice room for the price. No bugs....that's always a plus. Missing a few items in the room but it was ok. Somewhat quiet but could hear the dogs barking from other rooms. The check in staff was really friendly and helpful.

Caitlin and Mike who run this Red Roof are fantastic. We spent 4 months here while we figured out our life.. I have absolutely zero regrets. They treated my husband and I with absolute respect. Lgbt-friendly. The cleaning staff is also very friendly. Extremely dog friendly. Walking distance to Walmart, Dollar Tree and a lot of food options....

Stayed 3 nights on business. Room had no mini fridge. That was seriously inconvenient! Location was convenient to several fast food restaurants And Walmart so I had to stick with fast food because there was no refrigerator! No elevator Even though there’s two floors, so if you have mobility issues, ask for a first floor room. Coffee maker did not work even though they provide coffee and creamer//sugar packets. I am a coffee drinker so that added an extra expense of having to rely on fast food Restaurants for coffee, but there is a Dunkin’ Donuts right across the street. Ice maker was broken so the front office had to give ice anytime you needed it. You have to ring the doorbell even during the day and normal operation hours and wait for somebody to come to the door to let you in to give you ice. They have an ironing board, but no iron. Not a serious issue. Water pressure is good but hot water takes a minute to run before you actually get hot water. Beds were comfy And clean, but housekeeping guy peers (hands cupped to glass) in your window instead of knocking on your door to see if you need it Cleaned. Which was creepy as hell! I came to my door and asked him if I could help him and he just waved me off and kept walking away. But then asking him if he worked here and he nodded yes But continue to walk away and then I never got housekeeping service. Wth? Pros: Front office staff was very friendly. Location was convenient. It was like quiet location. Security wasn’t an issue other than the housekeeping guy looking in your window. Parking lot had plenty of parking. Rate was reasonable… I guess. I have to give it a two star rating because of all the inconvenience of Missing appliances and having everything not Working or running correctly.
