Anderson SuttonI booked this appt last minute and took my 6 year old son on our first camping trip. I was so happy to find that the site is on a creek and was a beautiful all around primitive camping spot! I've done a lot of primitive camping in my life and you honestly don't really know what you're going to get. It was clean and well-maintained and we never saw another person in the whole time we were there. There are hiking trails throughout the state forest all around you there, a fire ring and a picnic bench to eat at, and plenty of room for multiple tent setups, and a perfect spot to hang our hammock. We will definitely be back. 🏕️ 🔥

Amanda RhodesPine Log is really a hidden gem. It is beautiful! Miles and miles of trails for hiking and biking. There are several ponds and streams for fishing. There are campsites available to reserve around Sand Pond and they are all shaded. This is my favorite State Forest in the panhandle. A lovely place to enjoy nature with family.

ShyneThe campground is nice scenery but ive never seen flying roaches and they are every where. I kmow it's not there fault but someone could spray for bugs and at least keep them two a minimum... the men's shower drain was cloged up when I went there in February and it was clogged up when I went in June and it was clogged up the end of July... I went and bought some liquid plumber and Un clogged it myself and was doing ok when I left. Last but not least the dump station was out of order the entire two weeks I was there Noone came around and saod anything or left note a so everyone that had a camera was surprised that Noone could use the dump station before they left.... not very good management there i don't think the park rangers were awesome and very helpful so id almost bet the management id the problem

Melissa CGreat, simple place to relax with family and friends. Perfect weather this time of year. (October) Everyone keeps to themselves. The sidewalks and decking to the two main docks were fixed up.. More maintenance is needed on the trail to fix the other dock...I was hoping it was going to be fixed this time. But all in all a nice walk down the trail and relax time.

Shane JohnsonVery quiet peaceful and secluded park with pretty trees and trails. It is different from the conservation park with Gayle's trails nearby because of the more dark water and type of trees wide at the bottom and skinny at the top evergreen trees. Still the red trail has the wooden walkways across the wooded pond. Cool place for nature pictures!
