Amy Del PreteThis is a little gem of a state forest, very pristine and well cared for. It is not huge, but remote enough that there is some degree of availability. There is a beautiful walking trail with a newly constructed boardwalk through a cypress forest. Very picturesque and an easy walk. There arenother trails all around the campground through the Pine Log Forest.

ShyneGreat place to relax. Quiet and serene couldn't ask for a better place to relax and unwind... the only issue I've ever had is the dump station is out of order at least a couple days every time I've been there. Not sure what the deal is with that but hopefully it gets resolved soon. It isn't an inconvenience so I won't subtract a star Besides everything else is beyond amazing and more than makes up for it. I'm not sure why but there hasn't been a camp host during my stay this time And if the park needs a camp host or wants a camp host I Can be available for as long as you need me to be and can do that job no problem... im.notnsure why but Sand Pond is my favorite campground in this part of Florida...
