Perfect location for a reception that I had to pull-together on short notice. The Host(s) could NOT have been more accommodating when it came to organizing the rooms of the house, seating, and serving. The food was beyond expectations -- I wanted something akin to a 'tea' and Sullivan House's choice of appetizers and finger foods was delightful -- to look at, and to eat. Chicken salad, and ham and brie sandwiches, were absolutely delicious, and there was a wide variety of fresh fruits -- raspberries, even! -- and beautifully-arranged vegetables with dips. The dessert table? Oh my! Two beautiful cakes, chocolates, and cookies. I had requested pecan Sandies, especially for the occasion, as well as DR Pepper, and Dave Doherty 'delivered.' My husband and I also chose to stay at The Sullivan house for (5) days, and were not disappointed with the accommodations, either. SO lovely to be in an almost 100-year-old home that had been updated for comfort, but had not been modernized to the point of being unrecognizable. Comfortable beds, plenty of clean towels, a refrigerator for our use, tv if we chose to watch anything, WiFi that worked, and the rest of the house to enjoy. My favorite(s) included a sun porch, and what Dave set-up as his 'Whiskey Room' in honor of a family member. The taxidermy-ed elk over the fireplace added to the ambiance. Breakfast each morning was absolutely delicious! Dave's cooking, and preparation, (5) Star. Eggs Benedict; poached eggs on toast with a wonderful gravy; lamb with rosemary and potatoes, and poached eggs; fried eggs over-easy with toast and cheesy-potatoes -- fresh-brewed coffee, and a wide assortment of juices over the stay, as well as wonderful, fresh in-season fruits. Having Dave, and if you asked *nicely,' his dog, in the large breakfast room, was an added treat. His partner also joined us, and made for enjoyable, pleasant conversation. DELIGHTFUL!

We enjoyed our night at the Sullivan House. It’s a beautiful home and the bed was very comfortable. We had the best breakfast made by the host, David, who was very personable and knowledgeable of the area. We would definitely recommend and stay again!

Had a great time attending a Christmas party at The Sullivan House with a friend. Met a lot of interesting people and enjoyed some really good conversations throughout the night. Jim was an awesome host welcoming, personable, and he even made some tasty chili dogs. Overall, a warm and fun atmosphere. Would definitely recommend!

Dave Doherty was a wonderful host and amazing chef. The food was delicious! The room was cozy and beautiful. We loved the antiques. My husband and I loved staying here so much that we're staying there again tomorrow night. I can't wait to see it decorated for Christmas! I would definitely suggest the Sullivan House Bed and Breakfast.

I have some out of town friends visiting, conveniently The Sullivan House is across the street from me. Not only did they love the room, but David, the owner invited my family to join them for breakfast this morning. I have repeatedly heard great things about his meals, now I see why. I walked in to a properly set dining table that set the stage. Orange juice, coffee, cream, water & tea all set out for the guests. The first course, mini pancakes with sliced (perfectly ripened) banana, blueberries, walnuts and sweet whipped cream. Absolutely delicious. The main course, lamb with (perfectly) poached eggs over bread. Unbelievable. I highly recommend. The Sullivan House will not disappoint. Tell David, Melissa at Wisefly sent you!
